FAITH BUILDING

Sometimes all we need is a little bit of faith to make a HUGE difference in not only our own lives, but the lives of others. The prayers in this section will help you build your faith in multiple areas. The biggest little difference you can make for yourself is to BELIEVE WHEN YOU PRAY - Mark 11:22-26

FAITH BUILDING PRAYER: Personal

Looking at the View

Dear God,

Guide me to go forth into the world in peace. Lead me, Holy Spirit. Show me how to be of good courage and hold fast to that which is good.

Convict me should I want to do wrong to others. Help me to render to no man evil for evil. Mold my heart to be quick to repent.

Lord, give me the words to say to strengthen the faint hearted. Burn into my heart the desire to support the weak. Grant me your patience to have mercy on the afflicted. Help me, above all else, to love you first and love my neighbor as myself.

In doing these things may the blessings of you, my Father and creator, your son Jesus, and your Holy Spirit be upon me and remain with me forever. Amen.

FAITH BUILDING PRAYER: For Others New to the Faith

Helping Hand

Dear GOD,

I come before you in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, to lift up. . .

(person's name or names)

. . .and I ask you to begin a work in them that will build the foundation for their faith in you.

I ask that your love for them would produce obvious miracles that are personal to them so that as time goes on they will see your miracles in every part of their lives and others lives.

Grant them strength in their weaknesses, hope in their despair, and a renewing of their faith in their victories.

Lord I ask that your presence would become so prevalent to them that no matter their situation, whether horrific or good times, they would immediately turn to you with praises and release their joy in you for being their rescuer and provider of the peace that surpasses all understanding.

And I ask that their faith builds to the point of no return, and there will be no falling away for them, but rather a running to! I pray that they will become and remain faithful to you this day and forever more. Amen.
