MORNING PRAYERS

Starting our day with prayer makes such a wonderful difference in our lives. Every day is new, and holds hidden treasures from God, no matter our circumstances. These prayers will help remind you to keep Jesus in the midst of your day so that you can depend on Him to carry you through every situation be it good, bad, easy, hard, fun, or overwhelming. And when we're done praying, we need to be sure to stop and listen. . . . . .Be still and know that I am GOD.

MORNING PRAYER: Gratitude

Sunrise Tour

Good Morning GOD!

Thank YOU for my eyes to see YOUR beauty, and who needs YOUR help. Thank YOU for my ears to hear YOUR Word, and the cries for help by others. Thank YOU for smell so I may breathe in YOUR sweet aromas of here and eternity. Thank YOU for my spiritual tongue to taste and see that YOU are good, sing your praises, and deliver words of hope to those in need. Thank YOU for my spiritual legs to run the race - stand therefore - march into battle - and carry your Word to the lost. Thank YOU for touch so that I may touch lives with YOUR SPIRIT, and feel the hugs of others. Thank YOU for YOUR new mercies every morning, the heartbeats YOU have so graciously given me this day, and for healing me and making me whole. Thank YOU for YOUR protection, grace, mercy, love, and abundant daily provision. Thank YOU for the privilege to worship and serve YOU another day. Forgive my sins as I forgive others - I sincerely repent. Please guide my steps, and give me strength for this day. Keep me focused on my eternal home. Lead me toward the Promise Land YOU have prepared for me, and thru grace find me worthy to enter there in. Come Lord Jesus come. AMEN

MORNING PRAYER: Facing the Unknown

Travel by train

Dear Heavenly Father,

Gracious and merciful Creator, I come to you with praise and thanksgiving this blessed morning. But my heart is heavy. Fear is trying to consume me. I am facing a situation that I neither know the outcome of, nor can I go it alone. I call upon You, oh God! I am a believer, and I trust You fully. Therefore, I ask that You honor Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 in which You spoke the words, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” LORD, I stand upon this promise in which I find comfort, strength, and confidence, and ask that you help me to wait upon Your Holy Spirit to guide my every move through this situation. You are not the author of fear, therefore I ask that You cause Your Word in 2 Timothy 1:7 to take root so deep within my heart and soul that it cannot be upheaved. Clear my clouded thoughts. If I become weak in my human frailty, I ask You for the strength You so graciously promised in Isaiah 40:29 to keep me going. May I endure any hardships that may come about with Your grace Jesus, as You did on the cross, knowing that I will come out on the other side of this situation a winner for You and our Father. I give You my praises God. In the name Jesus, I pray, amen.
